Welcome to our home garden 'Florita' at Yercaud, Salem!
Florita is a small garden space, a beautiful blessing from the Great Gardener, the Creator of Earth and Heaven. We may not have done justice to every plant here with the limited time that we spend there. But we have never failed to remember the Giver whenever we see a pretty thing here.
We named our home 'Florita' in memory of my two sisters-in-law who are no more with us, Flora and Rita. Both of them were religious nuns and Sr. Flora lived in a convent at Yercaud and it is she who inspired us to get a house here. But before we got this house she had reached her home in Heaven. She loved flowers and Nazreth convent still has most of the plants that were planted by her! I'm not sure how much of Florita can be shown to you through these pictures..
I could count around 150 varieties of plants and around 20 trees/ saplings! Humbly dedicating Florita at Gardener's feet as thanks giving..
East: The morning sun falls on the ficus, making it golden day by day! Star fruit tree, Roses, and many other flowering plants cover the garden. In the middle is kept a Lily pond with Guppies inside. The duck flower climber adorns the arch with its flowers and seed pods hanging..

West: Two cherry plants, saplings of Mulberry, Lemon, Tree tomato, Miracle fruit, Passion fruit climber, Mint, etc.
South: A Guava tree, Chayote climber, Banana trees, Pomegranate tree, etc.

Thank you so much for visiting Florita..

Whose garden it is I think I know
My instinct tells me whose it should be
She would not have seen me stopping by;
Admiring her garden filled with so much richesse
Beautiful flowers with innumerable colors
Oh what a exotic sight
The fruit of her hard toil
But of one thing I am sure
Her heart would swell in untold happiness and joy;
When she knows that her sis had visited her wood
Rich with different colors of beautiful flowers and shrubs.
My loving sis this is a tribute to you for loving nature sooooo much.
Que Dieu te bénisse!
